So it is December 2022...
And we are basically seeing like NO signs of 2019 Bordeaux here on the east coast of the World Cup advancing United States of America, baby....
(I'm kidding, mocking myself and my fellow fat, pathetic tired United States citizenry... but our soccer/football team is good, baby.)
The 2019 vintage was harvested in the late summer/fall of 2019.
We are now about to step into 2023....
Where are these f&%#$ing wines?
We going on like 4 years, brau.
Give me my fucking Calon Segur, Leoville Barton, Lynch Bages, Giscours.
Hell, I'll buy some GPL if that will speed things up.
Not at Zachy's, not at MacArthur's, not in New Hampshire....
Seriously.... Is ANYBODY besides me looking into this?
Is this yet another supply chain issue?
Are there other dynamics involved?

In stock at Saratoga from the top down, although Pre-arrival prices are generally lower than in-stock. I didn't see Lynch Bages but I did notice all the other mentioned chateaux

I ordered 4 futures from 2019.

Siran, Tour St. Christophe, Lilian Ladouys - all lower level wines - have arrived. The only one still awaiting delivery is Pontet Canet, and given my futures price, I'm waiting to see if they really deliver it.

I'm sorry. I have no explanation for why a wine bottled two years ago is taking so long to get to my cellar.
Unless there are some scam market shenanigans, which, of course, is what this world is all about.
What I guess is amazing me is, where are the wine consumer advocates?
Where are the Wine Spectators and Decanters, and wine media?
C'mon, Musigny151, where are your brothers and sisters in the wine media?
To me this is a scandal.

Back in early September when I was in Zachys, I was talking to Michael one of Zachys long time sales guys and he was telling me that there was some 200 pallets of incoming stuff stuck at a BNP warehouse in Jersey awaiting to be transferred to the new Port Chester storage facility once completed. No idea if your wine was there or what but it does sound like at the very least, there will be a lot of wine to sell which will hopefully translate into a series of good sales.

Zachys delivered my 2019s over a month ago.
They said they had been waiting on a huge shipment, and that it had come in.
You should write to, or call, Andrew McMurray and ask him what’s going on.

Where are the 2019s? In my cellar. All my 2019 futures were delivered weeks ago. I did reload on some Cantemerle from Saratoga Wine Exchange this summer. It was a pre-arrival scheduled for delivery in the spring.

Could it be that 2019s were heavily pre-ordered due to the favorable pricing and good reviews, leaving little left over for retail shelves?

I received all my 2019’s from Bassins and Total Wine but have yet to receive anything from Wine Cellarage or Wally’s

I opened a h/b Clinet to see what it was about. Very young and modern, quite palatable, no complexity detected (at this stage?).
