Reverse World : 2021 Laguzelle Minervois

Today, some Bordeaux are making 14.5, 15 and even more than 15 % alcohol wines. Tonight i opened a bottle of the 2021 Laguzelle Minervois, a wine from Languedoc, with.... 12 % alcohol!

It was a nice light style wine, combining graciously the little red berries and cherries of the cinsault, the meaty style of syrah, and leafy spicy ligh rasberries style of the carignan.

Good acidity, not that much structure or tannins, but very enjoyable easy to drink red. Fun to see a 12 % alcohol Minervois very quaffable, without any faults. Tn: 86-87.
