BWE LONDON 2023: Day Two: Italian Night
Great restaurant selection again by Ian as we dined in a comfortable private room at Cafe Murano with one great Italian wine after another, some old, some new, I'll let the Italian experts opine on the vino. New BWE arrivals included BWEers Tom/Gail, Michael/Nalan, Patrick, and Nicola. Had a delightful lunch with Howard and Joel, we did a little sightseeing down in Westminster, the weather has turned out to be very nice, great walking weather. It was great to hear from Danny and Danielle via face chat, long live BWE! Looking forward to seeing Timmy and Eddie/Lisa today.

Been a little under the weather the last couple of days but fortunately negative for Covid.
I'll report in in the next day or two.

Jim,
I used to call it the Valpolicella Flu. Too much to drink, jet lag etc in such a short period. I know how we felt coming across the pond last Monday and it took us a full week to adjust. Certainly we were better a few decades ago but it knocks the stuffing out of us now. I'm sure the whole BWE crew that enjoyed the festivities are licking their wounds at this time. I'm sure they'll catch up with their notes once they recover. The time change didn't help either. I got up at 7:20am to leave the condo for a golf game and it was black out. I thought there must have been an eclipse or something. It wasn't until I reached the course that the starter said the clock went back at 2am. Thank god for auto time change on a cell phone because I never would have known.
