Ch. Fourcas Dupré, excellent Haut Medoc from Listrac

• 2015 Château Fourcas Dupré - France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Listrac-Médoc (4/28/2023)
  Wow, this bottle really held my attention.
  Popped and poured. Consumed with dinner over two evenings.
  Persistent secondary notes of leather and tobacco on the nose. Well balanced fruit, acid and tannin, with a medium long finish.
  Starting to show the complexity of a mature wine, and very enjoyable from start to finish. Excellent stuff. (90 pts.)
• 2019 Château Fourcas Dupré - France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Listrac-Médoc (4/28/2023)
  Opened on the heels of a 2015, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
  Right now the 2019 has exuberant fruit that smothers the tannin, and perfect acidity that contributes to a lengthy finish.
  This too held my interest from the start, and before I knew it the bottle was gone.
  Excellent now, with a bright future.
