Congrats JF & Josee

Post by dstgolf »

Ottawa Race Weekend came and went with two of ours racing this weekend one week after the festivities in Saguenay last week. Congrats to both with Jean Frederic placing 21/284 in his age category 45-49 for men and 212/3156 racers for the full marathon in a time of 3:11:50. Amazing the winning Ethiopians were over 1hr under this time at 2:08:20!!! Still some room for improvement JF!!

Not to be out done his wife Josee raced the 10k placing 17/448 in her age category 45-49 for women and 260/3590 in a time of 53:46.

Very well done and you make everyone on BWE proud.

Congratulations Jean-Fréderic and Josée. I’m proud of you, and at the same time less proud of myself being like a big potato!

Fantastic. And getting better with age.

I can beat J-F’s time - but my 3:11:50 would be for a 10k 😥.

Thank you all and Danny for your congratulations.

We had a short but nice stay in Ottawa for the marathon weekend. And as you said Stuard, as good Bordeaux, I’m getting better with age, but I don’t know if I’ll be good for another Blanquito!!! :)

Danny, I don’t think The winning Ethiopians have the some other passion: Wine…
