Yes, there is indeed a crisis, but not for *all* French wines.
Rosé wines are doing exceedingly well and despite a brief blip, Chamapgne is going great guns. Burgundy is in huge demand.
The category that is losing out most is red wine which, of course, is over 80% of what Bordeaux produces.
