RIP Jimmy Buffett

Post by jal »

I am not a parrot head but I enjoyed the one concert of his I went to a decade or so ago and his music always put me in a good mood.

I'll eat a cheeseburger and drink some frozen concoction in his honor tonight
Best

The other night as I was sipping my 2014 Cos, for the first time I think in my life, with my Medicare card in hand, I had a sense of my mortality. It shook me a little bit! Later this month I'll be 65. It doesn't seem possible. I honestly feel like I'm 28 emotionally, spiritually.

As I have said before: "It is not death that I fear, but rather the end of life."

This is too much fun! RIP Jimmy!

Amazing timing as we just saw a Jimmy Buffett tribute in Charlottetown PEI on Wed night. The guy was great with all sorts of Buffett stories and songs. Great evening but ironic with the timing. From his music to his fun restaurants and hotel in Fort Lauderdale there are lots of memories.

The other night JB was requested by mrs vino for happy hour listening. We hadn't played anything by him in at least a year. The next morning, I read he had died the night before. Cosmic, IMHO. RIP
