I heard so much about this winery being one of the best QPRs in Bordeaux that I bought Back Vintages starting with 2014 without ever tasting any. LCBO dropped some half bottles so let's see what we have...
Medium-intensity aromas of violet, cream, potting soil, and blackberry.
The cream and blackberry repeated on the tongue along with cedar, pepper, and menthol. A Very juicy wine with a long finish, medium plus tannins, and acidity which helps to manage the tannins. This will be a beauty down the road, I tasted it every 30 minutes until the 90-minute mark. Days 2 and 3 tasted the same with more earthy flavours and softer tannins. Cheers

Thanks for the report JayLives and welcome to your first post on BWE.

An always dependable Saint-Estephe.
Re: Lilian Ladouys 2020
I feel like this is a property that BWE likes more than the professionals. Personally I loved the 1990 and 2003, yet those were given tepid assessments by writers.

Danny is a big Lilian Ladouys guy.
I liked the 2016, but the 2018 was nothing special.
