I like this wine. It seems to have a sour cherry feel that evolves into a mushroom, rustic profile with food, it seems to be consistently delicious from vintage to vintage. definitely one of my house wines. 89 points.
And I had the 2019 Rancia recently as well that was quite stunning. No sour notes here, it was smooth and drinking well now. I know others here like to age these but I find them quite enjoyable right now. the price is inching up though. 93 points.

From the limited info I've seen, I think the 2019 Rancia was not as structured and big as other vintages tend to be. So I'm not surprised that it seems to be drinking well already. I have a case of the 2020 regular chianti, but have not opened any yet. So thanks for the "intel."
