It seems that white Bordeaux does not have the widest following, but I really enjoy many of them, mostly from Pessac-Leognan.
A Pape-Clement Blanc blew my mind when I visited the estate several years ago. Well, I can’t afford to drink Pape-Clement Blanc too often, but I find that Carbonnieux Blanc consistently pleases at a fraction of the price (though it isn’t exactly cheap), and the 2015 I had the other night was delightful. A solid 91-92.

I seriously struggle with white Bordeaux and almost never find them worth it. However I've heard very good things about Carbonnieux Blanc. Have you had many other vintages of it?

I'm not always a fan of white Bordeaux, but I had one recently that really surprised me. It was a 2014 Malartic Lagraviere. It was delicious. Lots of fruit and depth to the wine. Went very well with Salmon. Unfortunately I can't find much of that vintage locally, but I'll be up in NY soon and I see a place there that carries it.
