It's time to (re) introduce myself.

Post by JEP_62 »

Hello BWE,

It must be over 10 years since I've posted here, life just got in the way of posting to boards.

I just wanted to introduce myself. Hopefully some of the long time members may still remember me.

Hi I'm Andy.

I'm I life long lover of Bordeaux. I recently moved from the Boston area to Mid Coast Maine.
I still fondly remember the Maine offline we did many moons ago in Boothbay. One of the reasons I moved up here.

Hopefully time will permit me to become more active here. This is hands down the best wine group I've ever been involved with.

Andy,

Don't recall the story or Boothbay offline but welcome back. Most of us have made a lot of friends through this site and I hope that the future holds the same for you and many others.

Welcome back JEP.

I look, and your last post seems in 2011. Don't hesitate to post impression on any wines on BWE, like you did in the past. Even quick/short impression.

Now in Maine Central Coast, maybe is a good year for me to go bak to Maine in 2024.

Welcome back Andy!

It's great to hear from you. Michael and I have been talking about getting up to see you after the first of the year.

Some of the most memorable Bordeaux I’ve had the pleasure to drink have been with Andy. He is a Pichon Baron monster and a great chef—an admirable and highly sought-after combo!

Thanks for hosting us this past weekend, it was epic!

Dinner Saturday night at your restaurant, Enoteca Athena in Brunswick, was over the top. Great wine, great food and, most importantly, great friends make for the best times!

Michael, any chance you could post your notes? I know it's a tall order with over 25 wines. Even just the Bordeaux notes would be great.
