This was a little rough when I drank it previously, let's see how it's showing tonight with a nice porterhouse....

Just had a long talk with Joel tonight while sipping what is turning out to be a beauty, this 2018 Capbern. It was great to hear from him, I expect he will be returning to BWE soon....

Good news that Joel will be back. I was wondering where has he been?
Personally, i have been not convinced by the very ripe and alcoholic 2018 Capbern. That was a shock for me, after the marvellous 2016!

Hey Nikola, Joel has been confronted with a very difficult personal issue. He will be rejoining us soon. I’m planning on joining him and DavidG and the DC crowd in March or April, you should join us!
As for the 2018 Chateau Capbern:
This was a very positive showing. I had no idea it was 15% alcohol until afterwards, it didn’t seem to be any factor at all. It was a ripe, easily identifiable St. Estephe, with raspberries and cedar, excellent with a nice fatty steak tonight. Rich purple/ruby color. Two thumbs up. Rating: 90 points.

I enjoyed it too, JL, and the price is right. I intend to pick up more.
