2016 Allées de Cantemerle

Very nice wine, typical Médoc.

Very convincing, like all 2016 I had.

Nice nose of blackcurrants, violet flowers, licorice, black olive, and dark chocolate oak.

This Very classical in mouth. Medium body, blackberries and blackcurrants attack, no sweetness but good concentrated blue fruit flavors. Flowers with earthy tones, great light grains tannins, long fresh black fruit final. So classic, like a mini-Montrose. Lot of balanced 2016 style. Tn: 89-90.

This is drinking nicely, a great qpr. Cantemerle second wine is most of the time a Very nice red Bordeaux for the Price.
