Tasted it the other night at a birthday party, RP, it was outstanding.
Going to give it a more serious analysis with a nice sirloin to see if it is as good as I thought it was.

By the way, I tasted a 2014 Stony Hill chardonnay at the same birthday party, it was beautiful, best showing yet of a case that I bought a few years ago in NH, I have five left. A revelation, as Comte would say. Looking forward to trying some with lobster this summer.

Enjoyed that launch today, David, if I were elected president one of the first things I would do is invite Elon Musk over to dinner and I would say, Elon, humor me, tell me what would need to be done to land man on Mars in six years. we should have been on Mars 30 years ago.

When I was 11 years old in the 6th grade I wrote a 200 page novel (the first of two novels I wrote in grade school).
It was titled "A Trip to Mars," a story of six American astronauts journeying to Mars and the adventures that ensued.
It was written entirely in cursive.
I still have it to this day. See picture below.

My second novel, which I penned in 8th grade, much longer, was titled "The Secret of the Egyptian Pyramids." Sadly, it is lost to posterity.

The nuns used to have me read passages to the class. And yet, I used to get "F"s for effort on my report cards. Damn them.

Ha I just texted the picture to my brother Tom and he said he never realized that my cover art looked like the game Asteroids. And I said Asteroids looks like my cover art, that's circa 1969, 6th grade at St. Patrick's Elementary School.

Ha ha, the very first night I met you in person, Stefan, February 2001, in Chicago, more than 23 years ago, we were drinking Zinfandels, and I think I had a steak.

Life is weird sometimes. Me too been sick like Hell, the next day of the infamous zin night in Chicago.

The next day, at the Shedd aquarium, i was greener than all their seaweeds…

What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger… 23 years later, still enjoying Ridge Zins!

I know blanquito and others like these Geyservilles with some age in them but for me I love them young like this, with big ripe rich voluptuous fruit, it was delicious, mouth-filling. I think the back label of the bottle has it about right: "Showing plentiful fruit, elegant tannins and bright acidity, this fine wine will develop fully over the next fourteen years." Rating: 93 points.
