The 2019 Meyney has more depth and richness, the 2020 Meyney has more balance, these are wines that will not appeal to all palates. I prefer the 2019 slightly more, and thus rate it 92+ points, 92 points for the 2020. Both wines stand out for their rich, distinctive, opaque purple color. Chateau Meyney seems to be in a good place, we’ll have to visit it and Cantemerle some day.
