Wine poetry or?
Posted by Olivier Techer (Gombaude Guillot in Pomerol) on Facebook.
It's TNs on Mouton Rothschild 2010 awarded 100p, taken from Le Figaro's wine section and written by an English wine consultant, Ella Lister, who runs a company named Wine Lister.
"An initial toasted, hedonistic nose of cedar and sandalwood, with the invigorating salinity of the foreshore puddles, where the water is deep, dark, impenetrable. Then comes a note of dahlias, picked in a warm August rain in a superb priest's garden. On the palate, this premier cru presents a dominant salinity which then guides you through a panoply of other flavors, while maintaining a silky, very sensual texture. The wine caresses your tongue, like the salt water of the Dead Sea caressing your skin, for a meditative effect. Wow!"
Any thoughts?

Hey whatever people feel is fine with me. Some of the lines are better than others. Some of the lines are trying too hard. I’ll bet the 2010 Mouton is an Mmm Doggie though.

The 2010 Mouton is absolute perfection…apart from the label…which is an abomination
Re: Wine poetry or?
The note is a little intentionally verbose but I happen to quite like the 2010 Jeff Koons label even if I don’t own any.

Yes on the left is depicted porn star Ron Jeremy…
Re: Wine poetry or?
Haha I didn’t realize that but I wonder how many cases of 2010 Mouton did he receive as a result of that cameo appearance
