PD: Was '05 Jadot Chambolle Musigny as good as it seemed?

I had this the other night from half bottle. I expected tight and closed. It was really, really good, with a nose that was outstanding. Is this wine really as good as it seemed? I ask because the NH store has a few 750 bottles left and I'm thinking of buyng some.

I remember going through a case of the 90 Jadot CM quite happily.

I haven't had the CM but I liked the VR village wine. They seem to be a good value.
