Trying to upload an image here and put it in a post. Seems easy enough... does it work?

We might want to put limits on the size of the files that can be posted online. Photos that are too big are hard to view - too much scrolling. And might large files slow down the page loads?

Interesting - you can scroll the picture with the slide bars or click on the picture without messing up the formatting of the rest of the thread.

Interesting, the board should limit attachments to 256KB - maybe it's because you're a moderator it's allowed you to post a bigger file (that big one is 1010KB)

My "Phil" user is a regular user, so here goes with a big image...

Yep, I got a warning like this:

The file is too big, maximum allowed size is 256 KiB.

Good, I think it is a wise choice to limit the size of attached files. Is that true for other files as well or just pics?
