Mouton '06 label: Lucien Freud

Post by PhilR »

I just got an email from a blog I'm subscribed to about this, with this blue-tinged image:

http://bordeaux-undiscovered.blogspot.c ... child.html

I had a bit of a search and other places have it as a brown-tinged one, e.g:

Personally I prefer the blue, in fact I think it's quite beautiful (if that's not too strong a sentiment for a wine bottle label)

I like it, I just can't afford it.

With sales of 1st growths falling, this looks like a tricky way for Mouton to get art lovers to buy two bottles rather than the usual one.

Just reinforces what I've said in the past. Baronesse doesn't havet he taste in art as her father.
