(St?) Julien is born

Originally, Marie-Claude, in hospital since 8 weeks because of risky pregnancy, was planned for surgery on the June 8th. This weekend, I came to Québec city (140 miles from where I live) with Simone to visit MC. Went back home on Sunday late afternoon (left around 3 pm). Right after I left, MC start bleeding, and it stayed the same until 5 pm. Startibng having contractions, harder and harder, she called me back home around 8:30 pm to let me know that I had to return to Québec City as they would not wait more and went for an emrgency surgery.

I left back around 9 pm and arrived to the hospital in Québec city around 11:30 pm. I miss the first minutes of my son because finally, he is born at 10:03 pm. But I was really happy to see him, and MC. Everything went fine, without complications. I'm still at the hospital, with MC and the baby , and might left tomorrow or Thursday.

So this is how Julien Maltais is born, at 35 and a half weeks, and we are really proud parents. Light respiratory problems in the first early hours, but everything went back to normal really quick. Julien is in great shape, a quiet baby (up to now...) and we're enjoying that time with what will probably be our last baby.

Congratulations Nic. Hopefully MC can get out of the hospital soon after being in there so long.....must be tough on the whole family.....but it worked out for the good.

I like it too but I must say I'm a little disappointed, I think "Jimmy L.B. Maltais" has a nice ring to it....
