Happy New Year to all members of Bordeaux Wine Enthusiasts!

Just uncorked the 2002 Dom Perignon, it is absolutely yummy!!!!

I don't know enough about Champagne to comment on it, but I can testify that it is a stunner!

Ours had a blue label but otherwise was also very tasty. :) Young, lots of acidity, but tons of class and lots held in reserve.

Happy New Year to all!

Michael that is one of the Andy Warhol bottles... Great wine. Really going to be a stunner but my last taste was dominated by primary, fruit, sulphur and acid. Needs a lot of time.

Danny, the way I post my pictures is as follows:

1. I take the picture with my iPhone.

2. I email the picture from my iPhone to myself.

3. I go to my email when I get to a computer and I right click the picture in the attachment in my email. I click "Save picture as", which downloads the picture into the computer.

4. To post a picture here, you have to click "Post Reply," not "Quick Reply."

5. Click "Upload attachment."

6. In "Filename" section click "Browse."

7. Once you find your picture, click "Add the file."

8. Then click "Submit."

I shared the same bottle as Michael and you could tell that given a few years this will be something special. The acidity really kicked you in the face at first but settled down after a while.

Happy New Year everyone!

Happy New Year everyone!

I joined the crowd with the 2002 DP. A very classy champagne, packed with a lot of energy.

Happy New Year to all.
I drank many different champagnes last night but the only ones I can remember today are the Krug MV, Tarlant Vignes d'Antan and 2004 Frank Bonville (in a good way) and 1990 Deutz Cuvee William (in a bad way).

Happy New Years to all BWEers around the World! I wish you all the best.

For me, it was the 1998 Palme d'Or from Nicolas Feuillatte last night. Nice packaging and nice Champagne.
