Count me in, I'll bring the 1990 Manzone Gramolere di Grazia Cuvee Riserva Barolo and a 1999 Luisin Rabaja Riserva Barbaresco.

Thanks for organizing (again!), Werner.

The more the merrier.

Here is the list so far:
-------------------
Ian + 1
Patrick
Werner
Jal + Jill
Howard and Lisa

I have looked at some potential venues. One has the traditional italian roast pig (the whole pig would be cut up at the table)!!! If we have enough people, maybe we could try it out?

Hi guys, I'm sorry, I spoke too soon. I hate to do that, but please don't count on me for the Barolo/Barbaresco dinner for now.

Thanks again for all the hard work you're putting into that convention, Werner. I am looking forward to finally meeting you.

No problem, Jal.

Ian,

I have no idea how big the whole pig is. The website says it's a whole pig vs. suckling pig. It's supposed for 17-20 people. Here is the link to the webpage: http://incanto.biz/group-dining/ If we really like to eat there, maybe we could move the event to Friday so more people could come and enjoy with us. Or we could still eat there but with suckling pig as entree.

We see how many people who would attend. If 8 or fewer people, I might be able to talk our friends into using their space for the venue (maximum 10 people, including our friends). Or else we would use a restaurant.

It seems we have 5 people left for the Thursday dinner now:
Ian + 1
Werner
Howard and Lisa

It might work out better, as I am looking into Delfina which seats max. 6 people at a table.

Let me know, guys, and I will make the reservation in the next few days once I hear from you.

Just so people know logistics, both Delfina and Incanto are in my neighborhood, so both would work well after getting together at my place on Friday. Delfina is 4 blocks away, and Incanto less than a mile.

I have just booked a table at Delfina for 6 people on May 19th at 5:30pm. If we have more people who want to join us, let me know in the next few days so I could book another venue (Incanto) for a bigger group. Delfina can only seat max. 6 people at a table.

We have 6 people right now, as Chris and Tessa would join us too.

Ian,

I think I have some '98 Giacoma Conterno Barolo Montfortino which I would bring one to match your 2000. I also have some Giacosa red label '98, which if I find them in the cellar then I would bring one too. If not, I might bring a Giacosa Barbaresco '96? I have to check my cellar.
