Thank you Werner and Ed
For organizing a highly successful weekend.
These weekends don't just happen.
There are a lot of details. Tremendous job!
I'll post more, including pictures, when I get home.

Sounds like it was a fantastic evening for BWE 11. We certainly hope to join the group next year in NYC or wherever we end up. Thanks to all who kept the reports coming during the weekend.

Thank you very much Werner and "Fred" - for all the efforts you put in to make it a fine convention. We really had a blast.
I was struck by everyone's generosity, as epitomised by Jay who worked the room tirelessly pouring some veritable gems. I didnt know he brought so many incredible wines. Now I know where the leitmotif 'Mr Vino' comes from.
My favorites were Ch Latour 1990 (all is forgiven) and Ch Lafaurie Peyraguey 1924

Walking the room pouring my and other attendants' wines is a venerable BWE tradition. I was merely the vessel.

1. Thank you to the west coast gang, who helped out a lot with the details! Especially Ed for hosting on Friday, and Nancy for helping out pinpoint down the venue!
2. I would also like to say thank you to Tim and Jacques for their spiritual appearance in the bottles of wines they donated!
3. Jim is on my list to thank, for the creation of this website 11 years ago, and his benevolent dictatorship on it. Thank you, Jim!
4. Last, but not least, thanks to everyone who participated in the conventions! Without you, it's no way going to happen. Your participation is #1.
5. The pleasure was all mine!

It was very nice to finally meet the famous lawyer from Maine.

(Late to the party - no digital cell service in Yosemite, but that was just fine, thank you!)
Thanks to all who organized and assisted during the many events of the weekend. So many great moments. The Monaco Hotel was a spectacular location for the "Main Event". Mostly, it was great to see so many friends, old and new.
And special thanks to tim and jal and Jill who were there in spirits, er, uh, vino!
