Purchased for nineteen bucks in New Hampshire.
Has a bit of an edge to it, but not necessarily in a bad way.
Nice flowery bouquet.

Hey, this wine was okay in my book. This is the second time I've had it, and I've enjoyed it both times. At least at this eight year mark, the 14.5 percent alcohol does not intrude. The wine is fresh and perky, like nubile pouting breasts. I don't know if this wine will improve, I'll probably drink the rest of my case in the next couple of years. Rating: 89 points.

Nice to see some lower value wines in the How household. This has always been nice since the mid 90's. Don't think the 03 is the most representative. 04 is actually more classic with less oak and ripeness. Nice QPR wine. Not sure about any breast pouting notes on this one though!

Good to hear positive things about the 03. Has anyone popped an 05' lately? I've got a case I'm itching to crack open. The last time I had it, about a year after release, it was tough as nails. My guess is it still needs at least another 2-3 years.

I popped the '03 and '05 side by side last month. Right now the '03 is more enjoyable. The '05 has a very similar flavor profile but it's tighter. Drink your '03s now and wait a few years on the '05s.

I was going to say, this is an AlexR-kind-of-wine!
