Looks great. You have some wonderful wines there.

No one has 1984, the worst vintage of the 1980s?

My guess is that with may be one or two exceptions - Latour? - the 1984s have been on the downslope for some time stefan.

But it would have been nice and am looking foward to trying Chris's 1980, maybe we should bump it up the order.

I got a batch of 1984 Moutons which I paid 25 pounds a bottle for in the early 1990s. They were delightful. Super value, but I suspect they might be cracking up now.

Not so the 1987 Mouton based on my tasting a couple of years ago. Super duper wine and could be a dark horse on Saturday.

Early favourites for WOTN: Pichon 83, Cos 85 and Margaux 81

We'll have a fantastic lineup in Bordeaux as well, and drink a toast to the East and West Coast events!

Kinda cool actually that there are three simulataneous dinners happening amongst some BWE'ers in three different places!
