2011 Sangoma, Chenin Blanc; Coastal Region, South Africa
lemon, lime, rich but elegant, pure, well rounded and easy drinking, with nice length and poise. Hair, animal, and some minerality. For £6.90, this is a brilliant wine. Hugely accomplished. 60/100

2009 Circumstance Chenin Blanc; Stellenbosch, South Africa: Waterkloof
round, powerful but mineral, subtle, nutty, lemons, limes, Moroccan cooked lemon, spice, liquorice, sherbet and zip; wonderfully intriguing, Fur, animals, sea breeze. Perfume and intrigue, grapefruit... Really lovely, but you expect more than you actually get. A lovely finish that lasts. 63+/100
