I don't know what I'm drinking here, but I'm not drinking Bordeaux!

Oh, wait... St. Emilion is not really "Bordeaux," my mistake....

I may be wrong, but didn't He Who Shall Remain Nameless rate this like 95 points?

Parker 91, but a "finest Chateau X I've ever tasted" note.

Wasn't La Tour Figeac where Harry, Tim and I took a cab to catch up with the Convention '05 crew after the BWE version of "The Longest Day"? With all of the various Figeac's, that was one confused cabbie!

Yeah, 90, 91 points, I'd say that's about right. Extracted. Seems manipulated. Good, but not compelling. Nice ripe, licorice aromatics. Expected more, though not sure why.

German owned, biodynamic. Was boring until recently. Consultant is Stéphane Derenencourt's wife. Would be surprised it it was overly modern, but that it the impression I get from the notes.

I have the 04. It's definitely made in a rich, ripe style.
