Well, like always, no time for a good quality report. But some impressions.
2009 Chateau Bel-Air : Pomerol. For the low price, a very nice ripe Merlot. Brown sugar, dark red berries, tobacco, good structure, I liked it. TN : 88.
2009 Sirius : Basic Bordeaux. Well done in that great vintage, with real Bordeaux character, and some quaffing qualities. Violets flowers, ripes rasberries, light black currants, little structure but nice anyway. TN : 82-83.
2009 Domaine de la Charbonni'ere Mourre des Perdrix : Too much for me. Really dark, charcoal, licorice, alcohol cherries. Thick, very warm and burned wood in mouth. A deception. TN : 83.
2010 Domaine de la vieille Julienne Cotes-du-Rhone Lieu-dit Clavin : What a nice wine. Very impressive balance for the price. Good cherry, game, red berries, rasberries, flowers and pepper. Perfect little Rhone, with lot of character and a nice fruit/acidity/power/structure in mouth. A must buy. TN : 91. 2010 is reported as a strong vintage in the Rhone. From that wine, I guess so.

Re: short report
Hi Nic,
Thanks for your notes.
A taste of charcoal for "Domaine de la Charbonnière" seems most appropriate, don't you think?
What was the appellation on that, by the way?

Re: short report
Nic, that Vieille Julienne Cotes du Rhone sounds really good. Bet it's a good deal too. Not seeing it on sale in the US...
