The 2005 Burgundy party starts in my room Friday afternoon

Nicolas says he's coming by my room at 1 pm on Friday, I figure I will uncork the wines in the morning, we can do the Day One tastings Friday afternoon and after the Mr. Vino dinner on Friday night, then we can revisit the wines on Day Two to sample their development (with la pies de la whoopie) on Saturday before and after the main dinner! I'll see if I can upgrade my room to a suite, Timmy McCracken was able to do it at DC '07.

(...of course, we will drink other beauties in the room as well besides Burgundy. I just think everyone should sample a few bottles of these wines from this tremendous vintage over the weekend.)

In the other post, I wrote 1 pm, but I think it will be more around 3 pm. I'll do the winestore tour right after getting of the plane. Anyway, I'll call you to make sure you're there!

Yeah I'll probably be out walking around the city early afternoon, 3pm sounds more like it, we don't want to drink too much Burgundy before the Mr. Vino event!

We're going to do just a little tasting on Friday afternoon before the Mr. Vino dinner, then we are going to revisit them on Saturday afternoon and Saturday night to see how they have evolved.

The Burgundy party has begun, David and I are uncorking some of the bottles.
Also, we have confirmed that jean-Nicolas Maltais has checked in!
Now if we can only locate MichaelP!
