Aloha from Hale Ka (Beta version)

Greetings everyone from the fabulously blue-green island of Oahu. Deplaned last night ex-Colorado from "BWE 2" with three dogs and five more cases of wine and managed to chug down a 2006 Meursault-Blagny La Genelotte 1er Cru Comtesse Bernard de Cherisey with some takeout garlic Mahi before passing out. The wine shined even allowing for the emotional backdrop. What a past couple of days.
Anyway I'll be planting the BWE flag on the beachhead here a little later and hope to have some video to post soon.

Just returned from a recon of the beach. Very informative.
1. I have two of the larger dogs. Ankle biters very popular here.
2. As I thought, this is Obama country. Literally. His Xmas compound is just a 10-minute walk south. I'm going to invite him and Madam First Lady to Hale Ka on behalf of BWE. (This event is open to all BWErs.)
3. Even better though, there's a great surf break just north of his compound.
