Touched 59.9 degrees F at 0700 this morning. FMAO.

Cool. Literally. How'd you do it? Do they have basements in HI?

Gotcha. The ideal cellar floor temperature was only achieved at my thermometer on the lanai. It was also 59 in Honolulu. The record low for the date is 58. Same tomorrow and we may make a run at it. Sorry for the confusion! Not!

I have scrounged up a small, used vinotemp that's been keeping a few cases at 56 - 59 reliably so far. What I'm calling Hale Nalu is on a slab. Most existing homes are, or on a crawlspace. Believe me, 59 with the humidity feels like 39 Colorado degrees. Brrrr. FMAO.

Just got into Kona. Seems pretty warm here. Looked at options for shuttling over to Oahu and back in 1 day and geez they're not that great. I'd pop over for an impromptu BWE christening of the Hale Nalu cellar if I were flying solo, but family and meeting commitments are getting in the way. Will have to do this another time...

Bill - brought my mask w/correction with me. Going out on a 1/2-day snorkel trip later in the week. Any recommendations for someplace to park and just walk into the water? We have a car with us. Thanks!
