Seems like Suckling has released his final verdict on the 2010s...Some 100 pointers eh? Wonder how his 100 pointers compare with those of Uncle Bob...

Lafleur, Latour, Margaux, Cheval Blanc, Ducru, PC, LaMish, VCC...

I am keeping pace with grade inflation. As my followers know, my sweet spot has always been 89 points. I've had to adjust that to 91 points, but that is subject to WineWatch positive, meaning I may add an additional point to keep up.

Had a nice pleasant little 2009 d'Escurac (sp?) last night at the Super Bowl party. A classic 89 pointer if I ever saw one.

Jim, I do not subscribe to Suckling either. But my sources tell me he rated a cool 98...Here is his take...

2010 Rauzan Segla - 98pts "Beautiful clarity of fruit with raspberries and currants on the nose. Roses and other flowers too. It's almost hard to describe, but there's a real purity. Full body, with fabulous balance and depth. It has everything in the right place. Best ever? Try it in 2018."

It just cracks me up when he says "...It's almost hard to describe...."   If he cannot describe the TN, he should not be in business. :o :o Incidentally, I liked 09 better than 10...

The 09 Pavie Mac he said was like "Mount Blanc." Given the video we saw, I'm surpised he didn't say the RS was like "purple mountains majesty, above the fruited [vineyards?] plain."

The governor just raised our court appointed lawyer pay to $55 per hour.
If I work three hours and not factor in overhead, MAYBE I can afford a half bottle of 2010 Rausan Segla!

Now if you just had a room in which you could sit and not work you could join the UAW. Oooh, I can't believe I said that.

Do they still have those rooms in NYC where the teachers who can't teach sit around all day long?

My rich cousin who used to be the #2 guy at GE just bought a $10 million apartment off Madison Ave. He could probably like afford a super second.

I have an uncle who lives on Mulholland Dr. He made his fortune in media. He could probably afford a bottle of PLL, maybe even LLC.

Just count hours the way my lawyer does and you will do fine, Jim.
