2010 Giscours

Post by Bacchus »

After buying all that 09 Giscours, and after voting it the BWE wine of the year, is anyone ready for Molesworth's assertion that the 2010 Giscours is the best Giscours ever?! Help, I'm already poor!

My dear Dionysus, it's been so long. While I have yet to buy anything in the 2010 vintage, I did buy 3 bottles of the 2000 Chasse-Spleen the other day!

I've tried '10 Giscours and thought it was excellent though the '09 imo is just a smidge better.

I second that...If you liked 09, you would also like 10...But I thought Malescot showed better than other Margaux I tried at the UGC...

Surfed around and it appears $70+ is the going fare. I grabbed the '09, post-release, for $50.

If it's not available at $50 or less, I pass.

Jim, what do you think about a guy who won't part with a Grant for something like the BWE wine of the year?! Is lawyering in a bad way down in Florida?

Us Southerners do not take well to references of that man that burned the South . . . .

[I'm from Boston though]

Thus, we prefer Benjamins.

Grant captured Vicksburg after the seige.
Sherman burnt GA down. We have a roadside marker near here where they camped after maching north thru GA,SC and up thru NC.

I like Cleveland on my bills.

Don't care for Grant on your bills, Orlando. You're probably one of those guys who wants to replace him with Ron.
