You may have to either call or email one of their sales reps to get this price. It is not on their website, but they sent it out in an email blast to their list this morning.

Not that I'm biting, but I'm surprised at this price. Are these Parker 100 not selling out?

I'm never asked to pass the velvet rope. My JJ BUckley fairy has failed me again.

JJB had it for $145 prior to its elevation to 100-point saintdom.

When Robert Parker retires, will all the top wine critics gather in an enclave and light a pile of First Growth corks to send a smoke signal to signify when they've chosen his successor? Will they exclude critics who have expressed an enjoyment of wines that have not yet reached maturity? Am I going to hell for writing this?

One way to look at this is that HWSRN has less effect on prices as may be thought. At 100-pts this wine sells for a fraction on several others that are not as Parker-good, or not Parker-better.

Guess it was a time limited offer. I just checked and they want $229.99 now. By comparison the 2011 is $95.99.

If you call and speak to one of their reps you may still get the lower price. It was listed on their website at $229.99 yesterday when I received the email, but I did buy a few at $189.99 by contacting my rep directly. The guy I deal with there is Ryan Moses.

Agree with Dan. The private client emails often offer a better price than what is showing on the website. Yesterday's private client email was for PC at $190 while I bet the site was showing $230. More than once I've emailed one of the private client guys asking for a lower price on something and they've come back with a better deal than the website shows. Just ask to be connected with one of the private client guys and prepare for another batch of wine sales emails. I don't think you actually have to buy anything (or much) to be admitted to the private client club.

Pontet-Canet 2009 could be had for $166,6 in November here in Norway. Now I understand that the price then was ridiculous!
