Recommended wine carriers?
I ask this question every couple years, one year I'm going to buy a wine tote, any recommendations?
Re: Recommended wine carriers?

Checking on plane.
Re: Recommended wine carriers?
I use a 12 bottle WineKaddy, which is no longer made. The largest now is a nine bottle one.

The winecruzer is the luxury model, but in reality, it is just a Pelican 1440 case with some custom inserts.
You might also look at the wine check, but I don't see much point in that product.
If I were going to get one (I still use a box with styro inserts), I'd buy a Pelican 1440 case and make me some foam inserts for less than 1/2 the price.
In fact, I am bidding on a used Pelican 1440 case on ebay right now for that very reason.

I have a 6-bottle Wine Cruzer and love it, but it was expensive. They come in larger sizes. Howard's right about making your own for less, but my most-used tool is the credit card.

If I didn't already have a Wine Cruzer, or if I needed to transport more than 6 bottles, I'd probably get a Wine Check. It's an inexpensive way to make a 12-bottle styro case easy to roll around, and it folds up small when you don't have a styro shipper inside it.

Wine check looks cool. It seems like a 12-pack box can snugly fit in it, but wondering if wine check can be collapsible a bit so that a 6-pack box can be fit snugly as well...

I really do not understand this question, CV.

Re: Recommended wine carriers?
Doc, when I saw the picture of wine check, it seemed that a 12-bottle shipper box fits perfectly in the wine check bag. If I want to transport just 6 bottles, I can do that by leaving 6 spaces empty in the box. But the size will be big. Instead, I was thinking if I can just use a 6-bottle shipper box in wine check bag, but will it fit perfectly well in the wine check bag, now that this 6-bottle box is smaller than the 12-bottle box?stefan wrote:>>

What I did not understand is why you would want to transport
only 6 bottles when you have space for 12. Do you fly places
to spend one night?
