It is nasty as far south as College Station, Jim. I blame Danny for importing Canadian weather. :)

Yes, but the weekend is far away, Michael. The old Texas saying is, "if ya don't like the weather, wait an hour".

That's right. It's 43 degrees now, and raining. By 3 pm tomorrow, it will be 60 degrees and sunny.

My flight was delayed but I did get to Dallas. Rain has stopped. When we landed, the pilot announced it was 39 degrees at the airport (DFW). It was headed to 90 degrees when I left DC - quite a shock.

91 degrees in San Antonio yesterday and get up to 40 this morning with rain and high winds. Just past Bastrop on the way to College Station trees down and gas station with roof blown off along with several houses with siding stripped off. Some nasty weather passed through and I know it's always upsetting when flights are delayed but whats the point in sending flights into harms way. The complaints would certainly be different then! At least you are here safe and sound. See you tomorrow.

Wow, it's perfect mid-70s to mid-80s in Sunny Florida.

BWE Convention here next year?

It should be in Florida every year! Though I would worry about all those pasty white BWE'ers sucking every last ounce of hydrogen from the sun rendering it dwarf size :)

Hey how about a BWE Convention in the Twin Cities -- currently snowing hard with 5 inches of new snow on the ground and more on the way through Friday . . .???!!!

We did it in Miami a few years ago. Mpls/St Paul is delightful but not this time of year.

Sitting in CLT waiting on a delayed flight to DFW. Better than being stuck in the tarmac...

Our earlier flight from BWI was canceled, so we're about to board out of Dulles a few hours later. Wish us (and our luggage) luck...
