I had dinner with the American couple who wrote the book last year. They live in Paris (most of the time) and are very interesting people.

I read it a year or more back and loved the many wonderful short stories. Very enjoyable and educational!

If I must be critical, I did not like that they kept trying to tie all the short stories together when they either did not go together, or the authors didn't have enough information (or imagination) to be able to do so seamlessly. I still recommend it to wine and history lovers.

This is the stuff that Hollywood can make movies from!
