• 1994 Château La Conseillante - France, Bordeaux, Libournais, Pomerol (6/26/2013)
  Deep purple color, tight nose of blue aged fruits, nicely preserved for
  the vintage, although a good vintage on this bank. Very textural
  and supple, merlot lush and not he grip of right bank
  Cab. Sav. but enough supporting tannins. Could last but great
  right now. Hedonistic as all fine Pomerol should be. (90 pts.)

Nice note. I had a couple of these a few years ago with similar results. Didnt buy many '94s but stuck to right bank. Still have a couple of '94 Clinet and L'Evangile in the cellar. Troplong Mondot is (thankfully) gone - tannic and hard as nails without ever really opening up.
