2011 Drouhin Chorey les Beaune

Tart, thin, acidic. Initially promising on the nose with fresh red cherries, but supermarket level on the palate.
This wine has been pretty good for me in recent years but I won't buy more from 2011.

I know all young Burgundy is mouth-puckering, acidic, and stern, Chasse, but this '11 seemed especially so, from a wine that has offered up some nice $20-range pleasure in the past 4-5 years or so.
