Everyone interested can check my webpage - link http://greatbordeauxwines.com/2013%20ha ... deaux.html
It contains my very personal impressions from two weeks stay in Bordeaux, visiting not only the highly-esteemed properties but also not classified ones. It was third time I did Voyage de Presse in Graves/Pessac-Leognan and it was very interesting this time too
It was great to taste 2010 vintage from big and small guns, and I'm utterly impressed how this vintage fared everywhere in Bx
Happy reading!

So what were they saying about the 2013 harvest? A challenge?

DavidG,
Big challenge, all sorts of problems like coulure for Merlot, difficult flowering, grapes not ripening equally on wines, fragile grapes, risk of botrytis, etc. I think Bx will be happy if they make something between 2007 and 2008. Cabernets will be better than Merlot.

Thanks. We'll see what they say in the spring when they are selling them!
Great stories and pics, as usual.
