The 1982 Château Lafleur that SdR shared with me in 2012 was one of the best wine tasting/drinking experience of my last 20 years!

That goes back to what, Nic, when you were 6? One of these days we'll have to stop ragging you about your youth. I mean you've got a bunch of kids already. But old habits die hard.

Most of my best-ever wine drinking experiences have been associated with BWE events, notably provided by guys like Tom, Stuart, Jim, Tim, Michael P, Peter and Richard and the lost boys of San Francisco - and I'm sure I'm leaving some out, and of course our 2005 tour to Bordeaux and Burgundy.

Thanks to you all for another wonderful year.
