Anyone has tasted 2012s? If tasted or otherwise, any suggestions about ageworthy chateaux or any other wines for the 2012 vintage?

Pomerollover (Jeff's old BWE moniker) says Pomerol did best, and finds that some of the less expensive known estates there did quite well. Incidentally, whether or not you align with Jeff's preferences, his descriptions are generally very good and informative. On Bordeaux, I mean; on Burgundy he is as useless as Michael P. and HM$.

FWIW, I would not take Leve's advice on Burgundy either... Just sayin  Rhone, Bordeaux and Calif... OK.... I'd probably skip him for Italy, Australia and the list just continues...

By the way, Clos du Clocher prononciation is "Klo du Klo-shay" and not Clos du Klosherrr.

Nic

I laughed out loud

How do you pronounce Petrus Nic?

If I could afford it I would buy a case of La Fleur Petrus 2012...it is smashing
