The hotel is literally steps away from the Friday venue in the heart of historic Georgetown.

Well done Mr Vino and HM$, I'm in! Closest Metro is Foggy Bottom? Traffic in Gtown is a bitch esp on weekends.

Yes, Foggy Bottom is the closest metro-about a 20 minute walk. Note that this offer includes half price parking.

As soon as the departure is set to 3/30,it keeps billing the last night at 375.
Anyone else encountering this?

I did indeed encounter something like that when I booked, Rob, I can't remember what I did differently to get the $99 per night deal.

I called and mentioned TRAVELZOO to get the two rates.

I booked online, don't recall $375 for the last night but maybe wasn't paying attention. Got there by linking through the travelzoo site, and it put "zoo" in the coupon code box.

I also went through travelzoo and got a confirmation for a total price of 340.08 USD for Mar 27 - 30. The confirmation from the hotel listed the nights separately, each at $99.

Hmm I just tried it again and I notice the deal now ends on March 29th, not March 30th.

I'm looking at my confirmation Stefan and it doesn't mention anything about $340.08 for March 27-30.
It just says nightly rate $99 per night from March 27 to 29th, with departure date on March 30th.

I got the deal for Friday and Saturday night (check in on the 28th, check out on the 30th.) I don't know if the deal works for Sunday night.

Two confirmations, Jim. The first from the zoo place and the second from the hotel.

I got a "welcome to travel zoo" but no confirmation.
Looks like that deal is no longer available.

Looks like the 30th street location promotion is no longer available for those dates. The 29th street location can still be booked at 99/129.

This is confusing. I don't know whether I'm booked into the 29th Street or 30th Street location.

Is the 30th street close?
I am confused too.

29th street location will say "Harbour" in the description. Based on the map, it looks like it is basically on the same block as the 30th street building, but on the other side of the canal (a couple minutes walk perhaps?).

This is Susan. I just ended up calling reservations, explained I couldn't get the 99.00 rate for Saturday night and she just booked me through the hotel. Tell them you want the junior studio for 99.00 and it was fine. Not sure if we are 29th or 30th - but when I get the email confirmation, I'll let you know!

I have some Talbot, Gruaud Larose and Meyney from the 80's lined up.
That's the theme still?
Cordier from the 80's?

And some old nasty Burgundy for Friday night.

Rob, if you still have place, can you bring me back that 1989 Chateau Cantemerle in DC? If it is still in your cellar, after those 2 years...

I went online today at the hotel's site and the lowest rate was about $500 per night!

I called and they said all they have is the penthouse!

Nalan and I will be in the small tent by the canal nearby.....

OK, I found a very helpful reservations guy and he got me the TravelZoo rate (from last year he said) for the Harbor Building at $99.

Near the canal. Like I said.

Thanks HMS!

David:

I was lucky to get a reservations guy that wanted to help, and he found the "TravelZoo" rate in their system, and even though it was a year old, it was still valid.
