Maryland and DC are scheduled to get hit Tuesday night/Wednesday AM as it stands now, so travel should be ok Thursday. I hope. If not, well, even if y'all can't come we got a real nice box of wines from Michael-P to keep us warm.

Six inches of snow forecast for today.
Damned global warming.

Snowing like crazy in Ottawa with 3 inches on the ground and at least another 3-6 to come today with more on slate for tomorrow. I hope our plane gets out this afternoon to Florida as I've had enough of winter! :x

I went cross Country skiing today, and did not saw any signs of spring: still lots of snow, snowfalls yesterday, 10 farenheit, with some cold wind. I like winter, but the break in DC next weekend will be good too.

It's going to go down to zero F tonight, and the major northeaster storm they are projecting for mid-week, they say in the worst-case scenario could interfere with travel on Thursday. Which would be the fitting, final indignity, of course....

We're having lows in the 20s this week with snow expected Tuesday. Warming and sunny weather expected Thursday with temps into the 50s, then highs in the low 60s over the weekend. Not exactly warm spring wearher but hopefully not bad enough to mess up travel.

We keep getting these false starts of spring. 65F Saturday afternoon inspired a long walk, seeing robins and crocus blooms.

It was back to winter as usual -- 21F and windy -- when I started the car this morning.
