An unknown, unexpensive Pomerol, but from that Terroir and that vintage, a very good wine.

That 2009 Château Bel-Air us dark red color, with a nice nose, very Pomerol + Merlot. Nose If flowers, sweet purple berries, light sweet tobacco, earth, minerals and finally cookie dough. Mouth is light, but with milky chocolate attack, burned sweet blackberries, oak, vanilla, but light to medium power. Ripe, ripe tannins, that are very soft. Low acidity, missing some "punch", but nice. For the price, ok. TN: 84-85.

In the same price range, let say I preferred the 2010 Château Caillou Pomerol, to this 2009 Château Bel-Air.
