Initially there doesn't seem to be a whole lot if personality here, although the balance seems fine.

I'm liking this wine. No rough edges. Distinctively right bank, but balanced, the alcohol in no way intruding. We'll see how it matches with the tenderloins.

A little bit of a perplexing wine in that you might expect a 15% wine from St. Emilion to be flamboyant, over the top. But such is not the case. I don't want to call it "boring" because it is not . It is balanced, velvety, lovely. Feminine in a masculine vintage? Very nice. At the $40-something price level, I'll buy more. Absolutely no concerns about the alcohol.

Thanx Jim....was curious about this wine since it seemed like a decent price here locally with a solid score.
