Tonight, à Médoc ?cru Bourgeois from the 2009 vintage. While oaky and very ripe, this is nice. Medium red color, with nose of spicy cinnamon, oak, all spices, tobacco, dark red berries. Add to that some grapey aromas. In mouth, well very low acidity and tannins, even If same level of alcohol If 13.5 like the 2010 from last night, very more porty. Plums, heated grape, with burned oak, spices. Prunes. Drinks ok, but way less balance than the wine from last night, and this is lightly more expensive. Blind, I would never guess a AOC Médoc. Don't know If it will turn ok with time, but now, a TN of 82 seems decent.
