1988 Clinet. The nose is shy, but the taste is full of blackberry jam laced with licorice. The flavors hold. The nose of the Pomerol emerges a bit as Lucie and I drink through the bottle. Very good and no hurry to drink this ’88 up. stefan 91. Lucie 90.

I had a few bottles of the '88 Clinet in honor of my daughter's birth year. Unfortunately, I don't think I have any left.
I thought it was a lovely wine. I think I rated them about a 92.

If you get the change to drink the 1990 Clinet don't miss it - that wine is absolutely at the top of it's game right now -- fantastic. Of course it's super expensive now, and the '89 is even more costly -- a wine I've never been able to taste.

I certainly would like to try both the '89 and '90 Clinet. Unfortunately, I did not buy them early on, and the current high price of both puts me off.

I have a 2009 Clinet, rated 100 points by He Who Shall Remain Nameless. I know. I know.

I thought the 1998 really shined (shone?) at Winona Chief's Thursday night dinner in DC.
