This lovely little restaurant was bought by Hubert de Boüard of Château Angélus, who seems to have made it into a much more up-market place than it used to be.

I have often had simple delicous meals here in the pas.

FWIW, you can see the menu(s) and wine list here: http://www.logisdelacadene.fr/restaurant/

I must try it out one of these days.

All the best,
Alex R.

The menu is certainly not inexpensive, but I've seen much worse at high-end places. The wine list is impressive but the absence of prices would worry me!

Sorry David. If I had known the wine list didn't have any prices, I wouldn't have posted!

By the way, in some chic restaurants, the men are given menus with prices and the women ones without...
I guess feminists would fulminate about that, but then they're always fulminating about something!

Best regards,
Alex R.

Fulminators gonna fulminate.
Agitators gonna agitate.

Where's that curmudgeon smilie when you need it?

Not ragging on Alex's post, just wondering if the list is an example of pricing in the "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" zone.
