1985 Lynch Bages keeps getting...greener?

I've always been a fan of 1985 Lynch. It is the favorite wine of one of my close drinking buddies and we must have gone through 4 cases of this wine over the years. The green pepper aroma and flavor have always been a key part of this wine and through the years it has totally integrated into every aspect of this wine. We had another bottle poured to us blind last Sunday and we could tell what it was as soon as the wine hit the glass. The green pepper was that strong! Incredible how something that most people consider a minor "fault" can provide so much pleasure in the 1985 Lynch.
